Mr. Male Wilson met a group of women in Kiwumu Village, Kyabalogo, Nakisunga sub-county to explain the importance of schooling children so that they can be people of import. During the visit, he met women who had gathered as a self-help group and used the chance to listen to the challenges that they faced. Mama Goretti, who spoke on behalf of the women told shared how the lack of banks in the area brought about the need for money lenders who exploited them to the extent of losing their land, businesses due to the high-interest rates. He then promised to revive cooperatives which could help them access cheaper credit and keep them from exploitation.
